What's Going On
National Night Out
It takes the entire village to keep the village SAFE.
This re-write of a famous saying could not be truer in today's world.
That's why 97.5 BOB-FM has teamed up with the Oro Valley Police Department to present National Night Out - celebrating SAFETY in Oro Valley.
Join in the fun, exhibits, and demonstrations on Tuesday, August 3rd from 6pm until 9pm at the shopping plaza at 1st and Oracle in front of the Target Store.
Parents and children will learn about fire safety, water safety, gun safety, Internet safety, missing child safety, ID theft safety, drug safety, poison safety, and more. And, the Oro Valley Police Department will offer free digital photo and fingerprint identification for children of participating families.
See Police and Fire emergency vehicles and a rollover simulator.
Hear the results of the Safety Art Contest.
Hear Oro Valley's new Mayor, the Police Chief, and the Golder Ranch Fire Chief talk about Oro Valley's commitment to safety.
Enjoy FREE food, music, popcorn, prizes, face painting, and valuable safety information for the entire family. In addition, the Golder Ranch Fire Department will give away a limited number of free child booster seats (first come, first served).
Please remember to bring a food donation for the Community Food Bank!
Be a part of OVPD's commitment to keeping Oro Valley Safe!!!
